the pit logo blackJamaica, VA – Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway hosted the 3rd Annual Run-A-Muck Mud Bog and Mud Sling this past Saturday October 6th setting records in number of competitors and total runs. The day also featured Mud Dragsters covering the mud sling pit in record time. Fans were also treated to a monster truck freestyle show by Stone Crusher and Steve Sims.

The sunny temperatures and sunny skies provided a tremendous day for mud bogging. Overall 147 different competitors took turns at the state of the art 200 foot pit for a total of 271 total passes.

Winners in each class: Stock A and B – Baen Rideout in Dirty Intentions; Modified A – Nick Nester in Ford Hell; Modified B – Jamie Turner in Skinny Dippin’; Modified C and Outlaw Tractor – Ryan Anderson in Son UVA Digger; X Class – Chris Newton in Hostile Projectile (New Track Record); and XX Class – Ross Myers Jr. in Dry as a Bone II.
