2016 MUD BOG RULES AND PAYOUTS RELEASED

Jamaica, VA – Officials of The Pit at Virginia Motor Speedway have released the 2016 rules package and payouts for each division. With the first mud bog scheduled for Saturday May 21st the excitement level is rising. New for 2016 will be the addition of the Unlimited X Tractor (Mega Truck) division that will be the first division to run a short course at each event. The new division will pay the top three competitors with the winner taking home $1000, second getting $500 and third taking home $250. All three divisions will also take home trophies. Entry fee will be $60 / person driving the truck with a maximum of two drivers per truck. Three divisions will receive pay increases for 2016. The Unlimited Bog division will now pay $1000 for first, $500 for second and $250 for third. The entry fee will be $60. Both the X and XX Dragster divisions will also get pay increases more with both divisions paying $1000 for first, $500 for second and $250 for third. Entry fee for each division is also $60. The 2016 mud bog season gets underway on Saturday May 21 with the 9th Annual Down & Dirty Mud Mayhem presented by James River Equipment and Commonwealth Motorsports. Jamaica, VA – Officials are proud to announce the addition of another bonus for the 8th Annual Down & Dirty Mud Mayhem presented by James River Equipment at The Pit at Virginia Motor Speedway this Saturday June 20th. Thanks to E&E Caulking and owner Frank Embrey we present Tadpole’s Break the Record Challenge. Break the division track record in ANY division and receive a $100 bonus courtesy of E&E Caulking. Winner must take photo with owner Frank (Tadpole) Embrey. Track records for each division will be posted at registration and at the scoring trailer. There will be nine classes of “Mud Maniacs” in action ranging from super stock to unlimited with cash payouts in all classes. Not only will fans get to see hordes of trucks splashing through the 200 foot Mud Bog pit but they will also get the opportunity to see some of the regions best Mud Dragsters covering the 200 foot Mud Sling pit in under three seconds. Jamaica, VA – With the 10th Anniversary of the Run-A-Muck Mud Bog and The Pit just a few days away officials have released the division payouts. The Super Stock A & B classes will race for $500 to win, $300 for 2nd, $100 for 3rd, $75 for 4th and $50 for 5th. In the Mod A & B divisions they are racing for $600 to win, $400 for 2nd, $200 for 3rd, $100 for 4th and $75 for 5th, In the Pro Mod A & B divisions they will race for $800 to win, $500 for 2nd, $200 for 3rd, $100 for 4th and $75 for 5th. In the Unlimited bog it will pay $500 to win, $200 for 2nd and $100 for third. CAMS Racing Engines (owned by George Coleman) is sponsoring the 4th and 5th place payouts in the Super Stock, Mod and Pro Mod divisions. The X and XX divisions will continue to race for $750 to win, $350 for 2nd and $150 for 3rd. There is an Injector Bonus (Non-Blower Motor) in both classes that pays $300 for the 1st, $200 for 2nd and $100 for 3rd.
