Jamaica, VA — The Pit at Virginia Motor Speedway will host the two big Mud Bog and Mud Sling events presented by James River / Rappahannock Tractor and the Virginia Army National Guard at the facilities state of the art 200-foot Mud Bog and Mud Sling pits. The two dates for 2012 will be Saturday June 16th for Mud Mayhem and Saturday October 6th for the 8th Annual Run A Muck Mud Bog and Mud Sling. A rain date of October 13th has been set aside for the 8th Annual Run A Muck and Mud Sling.
As in 2011 there will be nine classes of racing to include the Stock A, B; Modified A, B, C, Unlimited Bog, Pro Modified and X, XX classes. There will be cash payouts in all classes. (more…)
Jamaica, VA – The Pit at Virginia Motor Speedway hosted the 7th Annual Run-A-Muck Mud Bog and Mud Sling presented by James River / Rappahannock Tractor, Virginia Army National Guard and in part by Davis Off Road, Monster Energy Drink, NAPA of King William, Truckin Thunder and ORI of Richmond this past Saturday October 1st to a record crowd.
The event also boasted another large field of competitors featuring not only some of the areas top mud trucks in a very tough mud pit but also the very popular 1500 horsepower mud dragsters in the mud sling pit. If that wasn’t enough the fans were also treated to an awesome monster truck freestyle show by Equalizer and fans also witnessed the first performance of Dennis Anderson’s King Sling at a track other than Anderson’s own Muddy Motorsports Park. Jamaica, VA – Dennis Anderson and his new creation King Sling will be competing in the Unlimited Bog division at the 7th Annual Run A Muck Mud Bog and Mud Sling Saturday October 1st, that is if it is still in one piece after he goes off in the Freestyle show he has scheduled! Dennis will also be signing autographs and selling souvenirs.

Jamaica, VA – It won’t be long before hundreds of competitors and thousands of excited fans will converge on The Pit at Virginia Motor Speedway for the first of two Mud Bogs presented by The Virginia Army National Guard and Rappahannock Tractor scheduled for 2011. Saturday June 18th will launch The Pit season with the 7th Annual Run A Muck scheduled for Saturday Oct. 1st.
