As in 2011 there will be nine classes of racing to include the Stock A, B; Modified A, B, C, Unlimited Bog, Pro Modified and X, XX classes. There will be cash payouts in all classes.

Plans are also being made to host a “Best Looking Truck” contest for those that like to show off their trucks but not take them through the pit. Stay tuned for more information.

Gates and registration for both shows will open at 9am with Single Eliminations for Stock A, B; Modified A, B, C, Unlimited Bog, Pro Modified and X, XX classes beginning at 12 noon. Registration and inspection for Stock, Modified, Pro Modified and Unlimited Bog classes ends at 11:30pm with X and XX Unlimited ending at 1pm. The event also boasted another large field of competitors featuring not only some of the areas top mud trucks in a very tough mud pit but also the very popular 1500 horsepower mud dragsters in the mud sling pit. If that wasn’t enough the fans were also treated to an awesome monster truck freestyle show by Equalizer and fans also witnessed the first performance of Dennis Anderson’s King Sling at a track other than Anderson’s own Muddy Motorsports Park.

The cool temperatures and partly sunny skies provided a tremendous day for mud bogging. Overall 110 different competitors took turns at the state of the art 200 foot pit for a total of 203 total passes.

Winners in each class: Stock A – Neal McClanan in Never Enough; Stock B – Doyle Winn; Modified A – George Johnson in Gold Digger; Modified B – Ray Atkins in Haulin’ Gas; Modified C – George Johnson in Gold Digger; Pro Mod – Colt Shell in Big Bad Wolf; Unlimited Bog – Colt Shell in Big Bad Wolf; X Class – Chris Newton in Hostile Projectile; X Class Non-Blower – Chuck Brown in Mudaholic; XX Class – Chris Newton in Hostile Projectile; and XX Class Non-Blower – Travis Shoemaker in Highroller 4.

The 2012 events were announced during the event and will see The Pit host Mud Mania on Saturday June 16, 2012 and the 8th Annual Run A Muck Mud Bog and Mud Sling on Saturday October 6, 2012 (Rain Date Oct. 13).

New for this year’s event will be the addition of the Pro Modified class. After discussions with both competitors and fans Pit officials have added the very exciting class to the line up. Rules for the new Pro Modified division will be posted on the Pit’s website by next week.

Not only will fans get to see hordes of trucks splashing through the 200 foot Mud Bog pit but they will also get the opportunity to see some of the regions best Mud Dragsters covering the 200 foot Mud Sling pit in under three seconds. The event will also include a car crushing monster truck freestyle show.
