The Pit at VMS is located on the grounds of Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway and is situated on U.S. Route 17, eight miles north of Saluda, VA and 25 miles south of Tappahannock, VA. The Speedway is just a short drive from Richmond, Fredericksburg, Southern Maryland and the Hampton Roads area.

The facility now boasts new aluminum grandstands and permanent lighting and plenty of free parking.

TICKET PRICES:
Adults – $12; Students 7 to 17 – $10; Children 6 and under free.

TRACK SPECIFICATIONS

Track:
200 Foot Mud Bog and 200 foot sling pit. Bog: Hole, Hill, Hole. Sling Track: 6 to 12 inches of mud.

Divisions:
Stock A, B; Modified A, B, C along with X, XX and Unlimited Bog

Registration:
9am – 11am (Stock / Modified); X – XX by 1:00pm. All trucks must be inspected by 11:30pm!

Registration Fees:
Stock A, B: $25.00; Modified A, B, C: $35.00; X – XX: $40.00; Unlimited Bog: $35.00.

Payouts:
Stock A, B: 1st Place – Trophy and $200.00, 2nd Place – Trophy and $100.00, 3rd Place – Trophy and $50.00.
MODIFIED A, B, C: 1st Place – Trophy and $400.00, 2nd Place – Trophy and $200.00, 3rd Place – Trophy and $100.00.
UNLIMITED BOG: 1st Place – Trophy and $400.00, 2nd Place – Trophy and $200.00, 3rd Place – Trophy and $100.00.
X and XX: 1st Place – Trophy and $750.00, 2nd Place – Trophy and $350.00, 3rd Place – Trophy and $150.00. NEW: Injector Bonus will be paid to the top 3 finishers who run X-XX that are not blown motors!! $300.00 (1st injector), $200.00 (2nd injector) and $100.00 (3rd injector).
