5th Annual Run A Muck Mud Bog And Mud Sling at The Pit big success

Jamaica, VA – The Pit at Virginia Motor Speedway hosted the 5th Annual Run-A-Muck Mud Bog and Mud Sling presented by Rappahannock Tractor, Chandler Chevrolet and ORI of Richmond this past Saturday October 3rd to a large crowd and enthusiastic crowd. The event also boasted another large field of competitors featuring not only some of the areas top mud trucks in a very tough mud pit but also the very popular 1500 horsepower mud dragsters in the mud sling pit. If that wasn’t enough the fans were also treated to an awesome monster truck freestyle show by Instigator. The hot temperatures and sunny skies provided a tremendous day for mud bogging. Overall 127 different competitors took turns at the state of the art 200 foot pit for a total of 214 total passes. Winners in each class: Stock A – Ron Marshburn in Kwikee 2; Stock B – Ron Marshburn in Kwikee 2; Modified A – Andrew McElligott in Wicked Intent; Modified B – Chuck Engle in Mud Life Crisis; Modified C – Kurt Carr in Bad Infuence; Unlimited Bog – Matt Fritter in Loose Nut; X Class – Chris Newton in Hostile Projectile; and XX Class – Doug Abshire in Alcohol Abuse. 4th Annual Run A Muck Mud Bog And Mud Sling Huge Success

Jamaica, VA – Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway hosted the 4th Annual Run-A-Muck Mud Bog and Mud Sling this past Saturday October 4th to a large crowd and huge field of competitors. The day also featured Mud Dragsters covering the mud sling pit in record time. If that wasn’t enough the fans were also treated to an awesome monster truck freestyle show by Stone Crusher and Steve Sims. The sunny temperatures and sunny skies provided a tremendous day for mud bogging. Overall 123 different competitors took turns at the state of the art 200 foot pit for a total of 226 total passes. Winners in each class: Stock A – Austin Holmes in Short Dog (New division track record); Stock B – James Hall in Got Junk; Modified A – Skip Martin in Yellow Truck (New division track record); Modified B – William Dorsett in Just Playin’ (New division track record); Modified C – Kurt Carr in Bad Intentions and set a new division track record; Outlaw Tractor – Matt Fritter in Loose Nut; X Class – Gary Morris in Bad Manners (New Track Record); and XX Class – Gary Morris in Bad Manners (New Track Record).
